Mattie Rhodes Center recognizes the importance of engaging residents by providing the tools and knowledge they need to become advocates on behalf of their neighborhoods, and create healthier communities. We provide a variety of community programs for neighborhood residents, community partners and existing Mattie Rhodes Center clients.

Through health and wellness programs, Mattie Rhodes Center offers classes and groups that educate community members about exercise and nutrition, as well as participate in local farmer markets and community gardens.
The community engagement & community economic development programs are designed to develop, utilize and cultivate resources and opportunities for neighborhood residents and leaders.
