Integrating the Arts in Education

With the current emphasis on test scores, the arts many times take a back seat. This doesn’t have to be the case. Explore new ideas on incorporating the arts into other subject areas such as social studies, science, language arts and foreign language. 


Multicultural Arts 
3 hours
Tour our current exhibit and learn new ways to integrate arts from around the world into your lessons while complementing social studies or foreign language
curriculum. 


Día de los Muertos
2 hours
Learn about this colorful Mexican celebration. Explore the symbolism, history and traditions of the holiday and create traditional crafts. 


Fee: The cost is $12/person with the exception of “Día de los Muertos” which is $7/person.
